No Tablet Detected - Ubuntu 14.04

Thatcher Bell
Hello Board,

I'm a linux noob and I am lost.

I have a fresh install of ubuntu 14.04 LTS. I have a Wacom Intuos 4. I can use the stylus like a mouse, but can not setup any of the other features. The Preferences > Wacom Tablet tool displays "No Tablet Detected. Please plug in or turn on your tablet."

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Hello Thatcher,

This has been discussed on this list a while ago. I posted the solution in the Linux Mint forum. See https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=208141&p=1106377#p1106377

Regards,
George

Thanks, George. It is working now.

Two more issues.
How do I permanently map control, alt, & shift keys to the express keys?
How do I get the OLEDs working?
