twin view tablet mapping setup only in one monitor

animationista
In my dual monitor setup, using Nvidia twinview, my Intuos3 tablet is
mapped in the left monitor only.

By default the tablet is mapped to the whole area of the left monitor
(MapToOutput desktop),
If I try to map to the right monitor by MapToOutput HEAD-1 or to the
left with HEAD-0 or using Coordination Transformation Matrix the tablet
is mapped to left or right side of monitor 1.

The split is proportional to my two screens though, my left one is
1920x1080 and the right one 1680x1050. The division between screen
halves is a bit to the right of centre (1920 | 1680).

System: Bodhi 2.4.0 using Enlightenment 0.17.4. 64-bit
Nvidia driver version: 304.116
Xorg: 1.11.3
xserver-xorg-input-wacom: 1:0.14.0-0ubuntu2.1
libwacom2: 0.4.1ubuntu1

Xrandr -q:
Screen 0: minimum 8 x 8, current 3600 x 1080, maximum 16384 x 16384)
DVI-I-2 connected 1920x1080+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y
axis) 598mm x 336mm
DVI-I-3 connected 1680x1050+1920+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y
axis) 434mm x 270mm

xinput list-props "Wacom Intuos3 6x11 stylus":
Device 'Wacom Intuos3 6x11 stylus':
     Device Enabled (143):    1
     Coordinate Transformation Matrix (145):    1.000000, 0.000000,
0.000000, 0.000000, 1.000000, 0.000000, 0.000000, 0.000000, 1.000000
     Wacom Tablet Area (275):    0, 0, 54204, 31750

Trying these lines when trying to Map my tablet:
Left monitor:
xsetwacom set "Wacom Intuos3 6x11 stylus" MapToOutput HEAD-0
xinput set-prop "Wacom Intuos3 6x11 stylus" --type=float "Coordinate
Transformation Matrix" 0.533333 0 0 0 1.028571 0 0 0 1
Right monitor:
xsetwacom set "Wacom Intuos3 6x11 stylus" MapToOutput HEAD-1
xinput set-prop "Wacom Intuos3 6x11 stylus" --type=float "Coordinate
Transformation Matrix" 0.466666 0 0.533333 0 1 0 0 0 1

Why can I not map my tablet to my second monitor!?

Re: twin view tablet mapping setup only in one monitor

The fact that the tablet does not cross the monitors by default (with
a Coordinate Transformation Matrix of [1, 0, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 1]) is
strange. The matrix values you've listed for the individual screens
also look pretty good, so its not obvious why the pointer would be
restricted to just your left monitor. It almost sounds like you have
the nVidia driver configured to use separate X screens instead of
Twinview -- can you please verify that the configuration is what you
stated? Also, if you move the mouse to the right monitor, does
bringing the pen in prox cause the tablet to jump back to the left
screen?

As a first step, you might try following the instructions at [1] to
download and install the latest driver from source. Although a quick
glance through the version history doesn't seem to show anything
related to this issue, there have been a lot of changes since the 0.14
release.

Now instead of four in the eights place /
you’ve got three, ‘Cause you added one  /
(That is to say, eight) to the two,     /
But you can’t take seven from three,    /
So you look at the sixty-fours....
