willing to test code for CTH-490

Louis Emery
To whom it may concern, (sorry if it is sent twice)
I purchased CTH-490, Wacom Intuos ART, for Ubuntu 14.04
uname -a: Linux limbo2 3.13.0-63-generic #103-Ubuntu SMP Fri Aug 14 21:42:59 UTC 2015 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Here is the dmesg output indicating the USB id
[    2.028378] usb 3-13: New USB device found, idVendor=056a, idProduct=033c
[    2.028380] usb 3-13: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=
0
[    2.028381] usb 3-13: Product: Intuos PTS
[    2.028382] usb 3-13: Manufacturer: Wacom Co.,Ltd.

I wouldn't mind obtaining development version of the code to test.

(I downloaded the sourceforge driver codes, and tried to spoof the
new device as another recent wacom product found in the driver code.
After loading the resulting modules, I no longer have errors in the
dmesg log. I could use the finger as mouse, but not the pen.
So writing the driver is more subtle it seems ;)
I appreciate the developer's efforts. )

Thanks,
Louis Emery

Re: willing to test code for CTH-490

Hi Louis,

The driver is coming. Our kernel patchset just accepted upstream. We'll back port it to input-wacom once input-wacom is in-sync with upstream.

Thank you for your patience and your future testing effort!
